This program bloomed almost a decade ago from a passion to help women build their confidence and physical ability on the water. Ever since then, every summer we help women find their ‘river smile’ for the first time or reach new heights of paddling potential.
If you love the outdoors, enjoy paddling and want to improve and learn new white water skills – but at a slower pace, because the body’s not as young as it used to be – then this is the week for you. Senior’s Paddling Week is a great combination of learning white water skills challenging you at your own skill level, yet in a more relaxed river running environment and amongst your peers. We find this week helps you to learn to feel at home on the water, comfortable in your boat and overcome the fear factor of paddling white water.
Our MKC Adventure Program is designed to introduce intermediate and advanced paddlers to our local favorite runs. We know and love these rivers and wish to share them with you. Five days of paddling on Ontario and Quebec’s best whitewater. Day excursions return to the hospitality of MKC or our sister company on the Ottawa River, OWL Rafting.
“There were many highlights on my week. The first one was when I managed to make a roll on my own already Monday. ” All the best. . . Peter - the Danish guy

Claudia, you have created something special here, as I trust you know. It's about more than just kayaking and canoeing. People connect here in a very genuine way and learn new skills that translate to other facets of life. It is wonderful to see this delightful community at MKC and to share in it for a brief time. Thank you for all of the hard work it takes to create and maintain a place like this.
